These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Aziza African Hair Braiding website (azizahairbraiding.com) and the salon services provided by Aziza African Hair Braiding ("we," "us," "our," or "the Salon"), located at 41750 Hayes Rd, Clinton Township, MI 48038. By visiting our website, booking an appointment, or receiving services from us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Appointments & Booking
Appointments may be booked online through our booking platform, by phone, or in person. We recommend booking in advance, as availability is limited. A valid phone number and/or email address is required to confirm your appointment. We reserve the right to require a deposit for certain services or for clients with a history of missed appointments.
2. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations, no-shows, or arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a cancellation fee, forfeiture of any deposit paid, and/or a requirement to prepay for future bookings, at our discretion.
3. Service Expectations & Consultations
Braiding and hair styling results can vary based on natural hair type, texture, density, length, and scalp condition. We will discuss your desired style, available time, and any known scalp sensitivities or allergies before beginning service. Please inform your stylist of any allergies, skin conditions, or discomfort at any point during your appointment.
Hair extensions and braiding hair used during your service may be client-supplied or salon-supplied. We are not responsible for the quality of hair purchased and brought in by clients. Style longevity depends on hair type, aftercare, and daily maintenance, and we cannot guarantee an exact duration for any style.
4. Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept the payment methods posted in-salon and through our online booking platform. Prices are subject to change without notice; the price quoted at booking or consultation will be honored for that appointment.
5. Refund Policy
Because our services are personalized and labor-based, all sales of completed services are final and non-refundable. If you are unhappy with a style, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment so we can discuss a reasonable adjustment or resolution.
6. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client for reasons including, but not limited to, health and safety concerns (such as active scalp infections, lice, or open wounds), disruptive or abusive behavior, or an inability to safely perform the requested style.
7. Health & Safety
Please notify us before your appointment of any allergies, scalp sensitivities, recent chemical treatments, or medical conditions that may affect your service. Clients under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be declined service. We maintain sanitary tools and a clean environment in accordance with applicable Michigan cosmetology and salon regulations.
8. Minors
Clients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must remain on the premises for the duration of the appointment and consent to the service on the minor's behalf.
9. Photography & Social Media
We may photograph completed styles for our portfolio, website, and social media. If you would prefer your image not be used, please let your stylist know before your appointment begins, and we will honor your request.
10. Website Use
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Aziza African Hair Braiding unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied or reproduced without our written permission. Links to third-party sites, such as our online booking platform and social media pages, are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for the content or practices of those third-party sites.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aziza African Hair Braiding shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. We are not responsible for reactions to products used with your prior knowledge and consent, or for the condition of hair extensions supplied by the client.
